I bought this practice set to get back to speed after not having touched my piano for six years.
The booklets reminded me of what’s really important during my practice sessions - without having to read through hundreds of pages. What this book offers is not the latest research results. It helps track simply my progress in a way that make makes the lessons stick.
The practice cards are more handy than I initially thought. It’s all too easy to just read about what I *should* do while practicing, only to fall back into my old routine the next day. The practice cards quite helpful.
The dummy keyboard is cool. I’ve never seen in, its good for “mental practice” when I am not near a keyboard, and the indentations between keys really do help remember placement.
